I got roped into The Bear after someone figured out how to connect Hulu(?) to our breakroom TV. I’ve only seen a couple of episodes, but it was enough to have me considering signing up for an account so I could finish it.
Great selection of excellent shows! I have a lot of overlap with you. I thought this season of What We Do in the Shadows was stronger than season 3, it returned to keeping the characters together and putting them in (more or less) relatable human situations. The “home improvement” episode was a favorite. Loved Severance, Better Call Saul, Barry, Atlanta. I still haven’t watched season 3 of The Boys and am extra excited after your rave.
What I would add to the list is Reservation Dogs (FX on HULU). Season 2 was phenomenal and the blend of humor, character development and genuine emotion was unmatched in any series I watched. I also really loved Sort Of, a lesser-known series on HBO that follows a non-binary Pakistani millennial nanny (and bartender) as they navigate life in modern day Toronto. Season 2 just dropped and I haven’t seen it yet. I also loved Irma Vep, which was unlike any series I’ve ever seen. It probably falls just outside my top 10.
Thanks, Steve! I love reservation dogs too. I was between dogs and shadows when I was making the list. And yeah the boys season 3 is a lot of fun. Extremely juvenile but a fresh twist to the very tired superhero genre.
havent had much motivation to watch house of the dragon, but ive put it on the list now!
I totally understand why. These shows have some many characters and plot lines, it is exhausting to watch them. It feesl like a chore.

Oh it's sooo good! I highly recommend it 🙌
